Texas Law Review members are selected in a write-on process every spring. Information regarding UT Law journals and write-on materials for previous years are available below.

In an effort to be as open as possible regarding the write-on process, we have selected previous write-on packets along with sample essays written based on the packets. These essays are SAMPLES, not models, and are supplied only to illustrate a few of the many approaches available when composing the write-on essay.  More importantly, the process will change from year to year, so any instructions from earlier packets are not indicative of the current year’s procedure.
