2012 Texas Law Review Symposium

2012 The symposium, Reshaping Capital Markets and Institutions: Twenty Years On, took place at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas on February 24–25, 2012.

Envisioned as a follow-up to Texas Law Review’s groundbreaking 1991 symposium issue on financial innovation, also in partnership with Professor Hu, this event brought together exceptional academics, practitioners, and regulators to present papers examining various elements of the current financial landscape.  In addition to the presentation of papers, the symposium included discussion panels on Dodd-Frank and Derivatives, Systemic Risk, and Corporate and Securities Issues.
