Symposium

2012 Texas Law Review Symposium

The Texas Law Review is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Professor Henry T. C. Hu to host a symposium focused on the landscape of modern capital markets and corporations.  The symposium, Reshaping Capital Markets and Institutions: Twenty Years On, will take place at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas on February 24–25, 2012.

Envisioned as a follow-up to Texas Law Review’s groundbreaking 1991 symposium issue on financial innovation, also in partnership with Professor Hu, this event will bring together exceptional academics, practitioners, and regulators to present papers examining various elements of the current financial landscape.  In addition to the presentation of papers, the symposium will include discussion panels on Dodd-Frank and Derivatives, Systemic Risk, and Corporate and Securities Issues.  Attending attorneys will be eligible to receive up to ten hours of Texas CLE credit.

If you are interested in attending the symposium, please email Tania Culbertson at admin@texaslrev.com by February 15, 2012.  There is no fee for attendance, but seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
